Flip-flops have reemerged as a stylish footwear staple, and while sleek black sandals took center stage last spring into summer, bright rubber thongs are once again making their mark. Exhibit A: Gigi Hadid‘s latest partnership with Havaianas, a four-piece capsule collection with the model as Creative Director.
Hadid, named Havaianas’ newest global ambassador in March, helped introduce fresh colorways for spring 2025 in two of her favorite styles: the Brazil Logo and the Slim Point designs. Now, she’s taken the vision into her own hands. Gigi Hadid x Havaianas features four limited-edition Malibu-inspired prints, two for the classic Top Flip Flops and two for the Slim Square style.
Starting with the Slim Square, colorways include Yellow Pop, a light-toned sunset print, as well as Sand Grey, a print depicting a sunrise over the ocean.
As for the Top Flip Flops, Hadid created a sea foam print called Coast Green in addition to a vintage-inspired sunset print with metallic details.

Starting with the Brazil Logo Flip Flops, seasonal colors include buttercream, pink clay, tropical coral, blue lavender, matcha green and dark brown. Retailing for just $26, the brand’s signature style features a Brazilian flag embellishment and matte rubber finish.
For a daintier shape, Hadid loves the Slim Point Flip Flops ($46), an updated take on Havaianas’ traditional Slim Flip Flops. The slightly pointed toe adds an even more refined look to the thin-strapped sandals, and the contrasting colors on the sides and sole offers some extra flair.

While the silhouette was already relatively new, the collaboration with Hadid called for fresh Spring 2025 colorways: rose gold and beige, dark brown, butter yellow and green as well as steel gray. For a pop of color, Hadid turns to the Rose Gum variety, a two-tone pink and orange pair, which gives off major Y2k Barbie energy.

“To be the Havaianas global brand ambassador is surreal, and a bit nostalgic,” says Hadid of the partnership. “Growing up at the beach, I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t wearing this summer staple. I’m very excited to be working with this team and I love that Havaianas is making a comeback. I’ll make flip-flops work from Paris to New York to the beach.”
