Summer Staycation Shopping Guide 2025

If you’re planning to travel to Europe this summer but haven’t made any reservations yet, time is running out. For those not flying overseas, I’m right there with you. The fear of missing out might already be creeping in after seeing pictures of Kate Hudson in Greece and Sofia Richie Grainge in the French Riviera. The silver lining is that we’re saving our miles and money, and using girl math, we can spend on other things. For me, that means purchasing summer pieces that will make me feel like I’m at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc alongside Richie Grainge without actually being there.

Elevating my wardrobe with items that capture Mediterranean vibes—like white linen pants, a designer one-piece swimsuit, and a printed headscarf—is just one aspect. However, enhancing my home is another crucial component. This will really trick my mind into thinking I’m sipping a Hugo spritz at the hotel bar or lounging in a seaside cabana when I’m really in my NYC one-bedroom apartment drinking my matcha out of a mug.
