Street Fighter 6 Release Date Reportedly Leaked Through PlayStation Store

Capcom has repeatedly noted that Street Fighter 6 was coming out in 2023, but was bullish on exactly when. However, it seems as though Sony has prematurely put up a listing noting that Street Fighter 6 is releasing on June 2, 2023.

As noted by Wario64 on Twitter, a ResetEra user posted a screenshot from the PlayStation Store showing the game’s three editions. And it plainly states in all three that Street Fighter 6 is releasing on Friday, June 2. All of these versions also grant users the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions, outfit colors for six characters, titles, and stickers. The deluxe one adds in the Year 1 Character Pass, while the most expensive tier grants the Year 1 Ultimate Pass.

Capcom has not confirmed or denied this date. But given its apparent authenticity (others have posted videos and screenshots of it, too) and proximity to The Game Awards, it’s likely that this gets officially announced soon.

Street Fighter 6 has also been victim to many leaks, as its whole roster made its way online shortly after its grand reveal (and was gradually proven true). It was so damning that Capcom even put out a statement about it.
