How do you want to make a difference with your music?
I want to inspire people to be themselves and I want them to just feel something with any song I put out there.
Do you keep someone or something in mind any time you’re writing new material?
Usually I write about a particular experience or person but I also find myself writing for my friends and their dating experiences as well.
Is there any particular order you go by when you make a song from start to finish?
Usually I write the song and we lay down the track before or after or sometimes I’ll come up with new melodies and hooks as I’m recording it.
Do you feel like there should always be a rhyme and reason for everything you do in your music?
I think it just has to make sense and I have to truly believe in everything I put out there. It has to be authentic to me.
Do you consider yourself a perfectionist?
Yes, very much so. I’ve always been an extreme perfectionist and hyper sensitive so I guess those things go hand and hand.
How much time are you spending right now on new music?
Right now I’m looking to find new producers to work with because I would love to put out an EP for my next release.
